Director's Statement

"The whole idea of this Film was actually forced onto us as every group of the batch had to come up with a meaningful production by the end of the semester. After a lot of brainstorming about various genres and ideas, the theme "bluff" was finally agreed upon, as it suited our style of film-making.

The shooting went on for about three months, with long intervals between schedules due to detailed reviews of already canned shots, unavailability of the lead actors on the same dates, and most importantly, difficulties in availing permissions to shoot in various locations.

The editing was no less difficult a procedure than the shoot, due to scarcity of resources. The final cut was created after four rough drafts. Various changes requested by the crew were incorporated in the final version.

The film was applauded at its premiere in the University auditorium. The film was also screened for the press, and in the First Frame International Film Festival 2008, where the jury appreciated it as "an ultra-modern film".
