We welcome all Indian short film makers to submit their works to Shortz, a free online festival of best Indian short films. We accept films of less than 70 minutes duration, in any language or format, with or without subtitles. We do not accept documentaries, animation movies or music albums. We will publish all submitted works that meet our quality criteria. There is no submission fee.
Download our Submission Form if your movie is available in YouTube, Google Videos, or any video hosting site that allows embedding. Detailed submission instructions are included in the document.
If you cannot upload your movie to any video hosting site due to any technical reasons, we can do it for you. Send us a CD/DVD of your movie to Shahul Ameen, Golden Villa, Near Parel Church, Changanacherry P.O., PIN 686101, Kerala. The CD/DVD should be accompanied by a signed declaration that you are the copyright owner of the submitted short. Submitted CDs/DVDs will not be returned.
