Director Bio
Ganesh is a theatre practitioner whose experiences include acting in several Kathakalashebams (an ancient art form of Indian drama) as well as directing and writing plays. He started his theatre journey in 2006 when he acted in the play Bomoh by TripleVVV Creative Theatre Pvt Ltd. It was the first Tamil drama in Singapore to be produced by a theatre company. He was involved in RDG's youth production Asuran, where he was the logistic manager (magazine & publicity) and a part of the props team. He was part of the technical crew of RDG's Ullay Velliye. He has acted in a few skits staged by RDG for cultural festivals and carnivals. In December 2006 he acted in RDG's Nil Gavani Sel. In 2007 he played a major role in the Organizing Committee of Arangam 07, an inter-tertiary drama competition endorsed by the Ministry of Education. He acted as the protaganist in "Because we are husband and wife", an English play supported by National Institute of Education, Singapore. In 2008, he acted in Pandavas, a thought-provoking controversial English play on the panchapandavas. He acted as the protagonist in the $150k mega stage production, Tajmahal. He recently directed the stage play Sathai, on the life of an escort, which brought raving reviews from Indian audience.
Ganesh currently pursues his professional qualification of Accountancy (ACCA).
